It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Hunter Ruttan of Selma, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles K. Ruttan. He is survived by: his mother Norma R. Ruttan (Rude); his wife Margaret Ruttan; his children, Kelly Rice, Christine McCammon, Jamie Brennan (Jim) and Fred Alan Hancock (Lisa); his grandchildren, Candice Turner (Geoff), Celeste Daniel (Travis), Kelsey Hancock, Hannah Rice, Derek Bonewit, Danielle Crabtree, Jackson Sigler, Riley Brennan, Caleb Hancock, Benjamin Brennan, Nihinsa and Ranuga; his great grandchildren, Leland, Lonnie, Nate, Henry, Bentley, Avah, Asher, Willow, Esme and Monroe; his siblings, Charles "Chip" Ruttan (Jennifer), Alison Yancey and Jeremy Ruttan; his nephews, Charley and Alex; and his niece Emily of Miriam, CJ. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
