He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hayden and Eleanor Hayden (Hoppes); his son Jeff Hayden; and his brothers, Maurice and Larry Hayden.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hayden (Schemenaur); and his daughters, Denise Carmen (Steve), Cheryl Patton and Deborah Leonhard (Tim). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Belfountain United Methodist Church in Portland.
