He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cox and Margaret Cox; his grandparents, Dewey, Mildred Richmond, Luther and Stella Cox; and his brother Mike Sizemore.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Cox (Hoots); his brothers, Terry Cox (Barbara), Donnie Cox (Bonnie) and Steve Cox (Paige); his brother-in-law Randy Hoots (Lori); his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Ice (Jeff), Robin Johnson (Darrin), Chad Cox, Julia Rost (JR), Steve Cox Jr. (Susie), Ethan Cox (Virginia), JD Petty (Courtney), Travis Petty, Douglas Petty (Olivia Gilpin), Tanner Hoots (Danielle), Collin Hoots and Kayleigh Ayers; and his pets, Ziva Sophia and Macy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
