He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Conwell and Mary Ellen Conwell (Smithson); his wife Lois Ann Hulse; his sister Roberta Alley; his half-sister Mabel Brooks; and his close friend Kay Leeka.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hiatt (Keith), Kerry Garrett (John), Kristi Conwell, Kevin Conwell (Lynn) and Brian Conwell (Jane). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; as well as three nieces.
