It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Martin of Selma, Indiana, born in Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Martin and Viola Martin (Cook); and his former wife Beverly Martin (Sewell). He is survived by: his wife Kay Martin (Knollman); his sons, Michael Martin (Barbara) of Greentown, Benjamin Martin (Susan) of Sheridan, Scott Martin (Susan) of Whitestown and Greg Martin (Melissa) of Selma; his stepdaughter Shawna Weaver (Michael) of Albany; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alexandra, Jacob, Benjamin "Eli", Shannie, Jessica, Kristen, Brooklyn, Breannah, Braxton and Brayden Martin; his stepgrandchildren, Katelyn and Alli Weaver; and his nephew Pastor Kelley Sewell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Little Red Door, 2311 W. Jackson St., Muncie, IN 47303.
