She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Giltner and Irene Giltner (Cole); her husband Carl Waiz (Buzz); her son Steve Waiz; and her granddaughter Killianna Waiz.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Waiz (Debbie) of Sellersburg, Mark Waiz (Karen) of Louisville, Kevin Waiz (Lin) of Sellersburg and Sue Ann Rainbolt (Bill) of Charlestown; and her grandchildren, Todd Waiz (Jennifer), Kim Kirtley (Chris), Stephen Everitt (Shannon), Mandy Basham (Joe), Keightley Waiz, Katelin Waiz, Andrew Waiz Haley Waiz (Rachel), Nathan Rainbolt (Laura), Jessi Vermillion (Don) and Ryan Ward (Caitlin).
Due to the current pandemic situation, the family strongly suggests wearing a mask while visiting the funeral home.
