He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Thompson Carpenter and Lena Florine Reynolds Carpenter; and his wife Fauniel Hall. He is survived by: his children, Craig Mandel Carpenter, Angela Stacey-Jones and Melissa Foster. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 son-in laws, 2 daughters in laws, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
