He is survived by: his wife Frances Akers; his daughter Kristy Taylor (Eric); his grandchildren, Isaac Taylor and Lucy Taylor; and his brothers, Kevin Akers (Carla), Jeffrey Akers (Terri), Kelley Akers (Hettie Shetley) and Bradley Akers (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends.
