It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Ray Eckert of Sellersburg, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Eckert and Viola Missi Eckert; his sister Brenda Patterson; and his stepson John Riley. He is survived by: his wife Delores Eckert; his son Ryan Eckert (Arika); his stepchildren, Don Riley, Tonia Riley and Tina Riley; and his siblings, Sharon Rush (Kenneth), Sandra Bragg, Mark Eckert (Brenda), Mary Everage (Mark) and Donna Cunningham.

The family requests that contributions in Steven's memory be made to the American Legion Post #204 (412 N New Albany St, Sellersburg, IN 47172).
