He is survived by: his wife Karen Balmer of Starlight; his children, Christopher Balmer (Melissa) of Sellersburg and Amy Hale (Curtis) of Cary; his brother Bruce Balmer; his nephew Greg Balmer; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Olivia, Emma, Madeleine, Jack and Harry.
