With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita McCartin of Sellersburg, Indiana, born in Taswell, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Sherman Russell. She is survived by: her husband Robert McCartin; her children, Marcia Eddings (Perry) and Douglas McCartin (Dana); her sisters, Juanita Carter and Sue Dowdell; her grandchildren, Sarah Meyer, Lindsey Churchill (Ryan), DJ McCartin, Hunter McCartin, Logan McCartin and Payton Windell; and her great grandchildren, Mason Meyer, Remi Meyer, Braxton Churchill and Braylee Churchill.
In lieu of flowers, Rita requested donations be made to Downs Syndrome of Louisville (5001 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40291).
