He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Funk and Vergie Funk; his wife Violet; and his siblings, Larry Funk, Daryl Funk, Shirley Brown and Ruth Chinn.
He is survived by: his brother Gary Funk; and his children, Dwight (Margaret Funk), Deborah Creech and Donna (Jim Carlberg). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
