It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lerald Ray Gray of Sellersburg, Indiana, born in Pekin, Indiana, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Charles Gray and Ruby Violet Fisher Gray; his former wife Clara Soper Gray; his siblings, Melvenia Gray Saxon and Louise Wade Morris; and his granddaughter Lizzie Banet.

He is survived by: his wife Melody Eames-Gray; his children, Beth Heeke (George) and Timothy Gray (Tama); and his siblings, Norman Gray, Lowell Gray (June), Tom Gray (Bobbie), Dean Gray (Eileen) and Jenene Smith. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

The family requests no flowers or memorabilia but donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.
