She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Kirkpatrick. She is survived by: her parents, Ernest Cleo McCurdy Sr. (Tip) and Emma Vaughn McCurdy (Sparks); her daughters, Chessica "Hope" McCurdy, Vega (Jose), Brianna Kirkpatrick and Shuler (Don); her stepdaughter Nicole Kirkpatrick; her siblings, Chester McCurdy (Penny), Raymond Giles, Dale McCurdy (Terri), Ernest McCurdy (Sandra) and Donna Munoz (Jose); her grandchildren, Elena, Emma, Emersyn, Emiliano, Rowan and Damien; and her great grandchildren, Gabriella Ramirez and Gemma Ramirez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
