It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith L. Cooksey of Sellersburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Dr. James Neafus; her brother-in-law Sam Shine; and her daughter Tanya Lynn Cooksey. She is survived by: her parents, Claude Neafus and Susan Neafus (Walker); her grandchildren, Dana Jones, Kelley Ragains (Donnie), Courtland Grangier, Kassidy Grangier and Marissa Jones; her sisters, Betty Shine and Claudia Rice (David); and her sister-in-law Betty Neafus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations in Judy's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
