It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Spoonmore of Sellersburg, Indiana, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Scott Spoonmore; her brother Wayne Overby; and her parents, Clyde Overby and Alice Overby. She is survived by: her son Nicholas Spoonmore (Dana) of Danville, KY; her siblings, Faye Seigla (Joe) of Greensboro, NC, Jan Overby of Sellersburg, IN and Danny Overby (Bunnie) of Reidsville, NC; her stepdaughter Stephanie Cheek (Matt) of Culleoka, TN; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Callie and Dakota Wilson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
