He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Elrod and Nora Elrod; and his wife Hazel Elrod. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Elrod (Julie) of Clarksville, Teresa Hunsucker of Jeffersonville, Linda LaVon (Mike) of Charlestown and Lisa Hixenbaugh of Jeffersonville; and his brother Joe Elrod (JoAnn).
