He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Kopp; and his wife Nancy Lanum Kopp. He is survived by: his sons, Dallas Ray Kopp (Belinda) of Baltimore and David Kopp (Michele) of Baltimore; his stepdaughters, Jane Sierota (Jeff) of Sellersburg, Debbie Wright of Jeffersonville and Connie Kidd (David) of Henryville; his grandchildren, Dallas Ray Kopp, Jr., April Simons, Joseph Kopp, David Kopp, Jr., Savannah Kopp and Morgan Kopp; and his stepgrandchildren, Kelsey Brock, Matthew Sierota, Ally Roth, Tom Wright, Jason Kidd, Danny Kidd and Jessica Roberts.
