It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dakota James Burns (Sellersburg, Indiana), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his aunt Joyce Clark. He is survived by: his wife Paizley Burns; his parents, Jeffrey Burns (Brittany) and Amanda Burns (Scott); his daughter EmmaJean Burns; his siblings, Dalton Burns (Cheyann), Daniel Burns (Ashley Jones), Lilliana Burns and Layla Burns; his grandparents, Willard Clark (Sherry), Rhonda Clark and Gayle Faith; and his brothers-in-law, Zack Hardin and Timmy Hardin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
