The memory of Bonnie Ruth Rone of Sellersburg, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Atwood and Mable Kimes Atwood; her husband McGlenon Fonzo Rone; and her siblings, Dorothy Pearson, Olive Archibald and Jesse Atwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Rone (Mary) of Charlestown, IN and Curtis Rone (Teresa) of Borden, IN; her brother Fred Atwood (Monica) of Elizabeth, IN; her grandchildren, Phillip Rone, Melissa Rone and Jessica Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Colten Snyder, Austin Snyder, Weston Rone, Hazel Rone and Shiv Rone.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grayson Funeral Home-Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life Celebration Service.
Expressions of Sympathy in Memory of Bonnie may take the form of donations to the Eastern Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.
