Willie Ray Asher Barger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2020, at the age of 85, Willie Ray Asher Barger of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Yerkes, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Asher and Shirley Asher (Hamblin); her sisters, Maude Asher, Emily Piercefield, Vicie Spicer, Betty Deaton and Joann Asher; her grandmother Williams; and her niece Meldia Schilawski.
She is survived by: her brothers, Nicky Asher (Linda) of Hamilton and Phillip Asher (Linda) of New Albany, Indiana; and her nephew Ricky Spicer. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed and will be limited to 25 people in the building. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
