She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Barrett and Hazel Barrett (Deaton); her husband Darrell Combs; her daughter Melissa Smith; her siblings, Bobby, Danny, Donald Barrett, Frieda Parker and Kathy Hensley; and her granddaughter Diana Combs.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Combs, Debbie Smith and Mary Jenkins; and her sisters, Carolyn and Barbara Barrett. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
