With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Deaton of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Salem, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lawrin Corn and Hazel Corn (Bane); and her son Glen Deaton. She is survived by: her grandson Michael Deaton (Brenda) of Scottsburg; and her great grandchildren, Brandon James, Joshua Glen and Vivian Grace Deaton.
Visitation and funeral services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed.
