He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Simpson and Iris M. Simpson (McKeever); and his brother Patrick Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Simpson (Sterrett); his children, Shane Clark (Angie Hammill) of Scottsburg, Michael Clark (Nicollette) of Columbus, Indiana and Chrysty Black (Sean) of Fresno, California; and his siblings, Chystal Ebley of Hanover, Bobbi Simpson (Joyce Pyles) of Bedford, Kentucky, Tracy Simpson of Madison, Andrew Simpson (Velma) of Madison, Scott Simpson (Karin) of Greenfield, Indiana and Noel Simpson of Greenfield, Indiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
