He is survived by: his children, Eddie Murphy (Gina) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tia Murphy, Patton of Scottsburg, Indiana and Joey Lynn Murphy (Tricia) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his grandsons, Chase Murphy (Amy) and Chance Murphy (Rachel Surber) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his sons, Tyler Patton (Nikki Gibson) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Jacob and Nicholas Murphy of Scottsburg, Indiana.; his great grandchildren, Maverick Murphy, Ethan Ball (Madison), Cole Ball (Lexi) and Skylar Ball; his great great grandchild Charlie Ball; and his sisters, Sue Murphy, Donna Murphy and Moberly.
