It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane Daryl Yonts (Scottsburg, Indiana), who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shane Daryl Yonts to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his sister Wendi Fields; his brother-in-law Kenny Ross; and his nieces and nephews, Laikyn Rochelle and Joshua Ross. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Yonts and Karen Yonts (Combs); his son Grayson Yonts; his siblings, Duane Yonts (Faith) of Austin, Indiana and Tamra Ross of Sellersburg, Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua Yonts (Rachael), Casey Sterling (Dixon), Derek Ross, Lakesha Holland (Tyler), Skyla Fields (Dustin), Kendra Ross (Aaron) and Cameron Doane.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Collins Family Center (20 S Elm St, Scottsburg, IN 47170).
Memorial donations can be made in Shane's name to any Scott County Addiction Recovery Facility in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
