She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Seitz and Gladys Nott Seitz. She is survived by: her husband George Allen Hood of Scottsburg, Indiana; her children, Donna Wilkerson of Sarasota, Joann Courtosis of Madison, Dee Miller of Scottsburg, Indiana and Edward Adkins of Maryland; and her brother Marvin Seitz of Freeland, Maryland. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
