He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowry Anderson Smith and Mildred Coleta Smith (Webber); and his siblings, Lowry Smith, Dean Smith, Charlie Smith, Donna Cox and Margaret Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Tisha McNeely (Don Hounshell) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Chris Jeffries (Malina) of Scottsburg and Brandon Smith (Chasity) of Lexington, Indiana; his siblings, Mary Gorman (Tom), Dorothy Horine (Lee Campbell), Mildred Thomas, Ben Smith and Dale Smith (Margie); his grandchildren, Hunter McNeely, Marly McNeely, Trenton Jeffries (Brooke), Cameron Jeffries, Lauren Jeffries, Eli and Easton Smith; and his great grandchild Raelynn Jeffries. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
