It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jean Baerveldt of Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Thomas and Geneva Ross (Brown); and her seven Ross. She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Calvin L. Baerveldt (Diane) of Rehoboth Beach, Rebecca Carol Biddle (Mark) of Ogden, Larry Rae Baerveldt (Cindy Harkness) and Linda Marie Baerveldt (Rich Logan) of Citrus Heights, California; her grandchildren, Noah Saan (Anya), Benjamin Eric (Christina) and Amanda Michelle (Jacob); and her stepgranddaughters, Michelle (Mary) and Melissa (Ryan). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers the family suggests donations to Scottsburg United Methodist Church or Scott County Heritage Center and Museum c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
