He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schmidt and Alice Conn Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Judy Schmidt; his children, Marla Durham, Greg Schmidt (Melissa) and Kevin Schmidt; and his siblings, Gilbert Schmidt, Clarence Schmidt (Diane), Sarah Schmidt, Peggy West and Marty Luse. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
