She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Porter and June Porter; her husband John R. Bowling Sr.; her son Phillip Edward Bowling; and her brothers, Leon, Eddie and Earl Porter.
She is survived by: her children, John Bowling Jr. (Angie), Michael Bowling (Liz), David Bowling (Lisa) and Angela Brock (Duane); her siblings, Diana Clark, Helen Helton, Debra Turner, David, Junior and Wayne Porter; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Bethany, Phillip, Jordan, Matthew, Michael, Derek and Kurtis. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
