It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Comer of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Marion and Inez Marion (Robinson); her husband Floyd W. Comer; and her siblings, Ronald Marion, Almeda Price, Bonnie Sue Hardin and Carol Valentine.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Burton (Florence) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Logan Mitchell of Scottsburg, Indiana, Ed Mitchell of Scottsburg, Indiana, Dolly Brais of Scottsburg, Sharon Burton of Scottsburg, Shirley Mitchell-North (Dave) of Scottsburg and Rose Law (Harry) of Underwood, Indiana; and her siblings, Robert Marion (Linda) of New Hampshire, Victor Marion (Diane) of New Hampshire, Leon Marion (Arlene) of North Vernon, Frank Marion of Dayton, Ohio and Norma Coats of Salem, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed.
