He is survived by: his parents, Robert Carl VanMeter Sr. (Nicolina) of Detroit, MI and Mary Frances VanMeter (Lewis) of Henryville, IN; his wife Emma VanMeter (Abbott) of Scottsburg, IN; his children, Nikki Ennis Warford of Texas, Rick Gutowski of Columbus, IN, Stephanie Sullivan (Zach) of Hanover, IN, Suzanna Fleenor (Jeremy) of Hanover, IN, Aaron Gutowski (Terra) of Deputy, IN and Monty Williams of Scottsburg, IN; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Brown (Jeremiah), Rachel McClellan (Anthony), Lincoln Ellis VanMeter (Peyton), Hannah Jane VanMeter (Skyler), Audrey VanMeter (Luke) and Lucas VanMeter; his siblings, Bob VanMeter of Henryville, IN, Kevin (Rebecca), Jody VanMeter (Tamara) of Henryville, IN, Chris Lewis (Melissa) of Floyd Knobs, IN and Edward Sanders (Frankie) of Henryville, IN; and his stepsister Renee Calado. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws.
