She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bright; her parents, Russell K. Rogers and Myrtle Rogers (Murphy); her grandson Michael Thomas Murphy; her great grandchild Penelope Quinn Robertson; and her brother Gene Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Robertson (Alan) of Tybee Island, GA, Jama Pecore (Tom) of Norman, OK, Tanya Murphy (Jeff) of Sellersburg, IN and Kathy Anderkin (Jerry) of Scottsburg, IN.; her grandchildren, Russell Robertson (Zoe), Zachary Robertson (Desiree), Samantha Pecore, Amanda Woolverton (Forrest), Andrew Pecore (Abby), Ryan Murphy (Lynne), Natalie Bickel (Jacob) and Casey Anderkin (Megan); and her sister-in-law Vada Rogers. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several beloved stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory (138 Westavia Blvd, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Scottsburg Cemetery.
