She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cox and Cora Cox (Harp); her husband Ronald Galen Coats; and her siblings, Pauline Horn, Irene Thomas, Jewell Daughtetry, Opal Sharp, Winston, Luther and Zerel Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanene L. Coats of Scottsburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
