He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stearns (Flynn); his sons, Michael David Stearns Jr. of Scottsburg, Larry Wayne Stearns of Jeffersonville, Royal Myers (Candace) of Scottsburg, Indiana and John Myers of Indianapolis; his stepdaughter Laura Thurman of Little York, Indiana; his siblings, Isaac Stearns (Regina) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Edna McKinney (Mac) of Scottsburg and Kay White (Don) of Pleasant, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Michael Kelly Stearns (Mariah), Shane Prince, Andie Myers and Clancy Myers; and his great grandchildren, Violet and Xavier Stearns.
