With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luvana Barrett Cornett of Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Barrett and Gracie Roberts Barrett; her husband John Cornett; and her siblings, Millard Barrett, Willard Barrett, Earnie L. Barrett, Sr., Robert Barrett, Harold Barrett, Ledfert Barrett, Patty Lou Johnson, Helen Barrett and Geneva Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Isley (Jim) of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Greg Cornett (Michelle) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her grandchildren, Shawn Isley (Darlene), Chad Isley (Sara), Hailey Cornett (Morgan) and Benjamin Hunley; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Isley (Jacqueline), Michael Isley (Selena), Chloe Isley (Jake), Avereigh Palmer and Kade Cornett; her great great grandchild Emrie Isley; and her siblings, Homer Barrett (Debbie) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Elizabeth Kahl of Scottsburg, Judy Motsinger of Scottsburg and Kay Bexley of Scottsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Redemption Pentecostal Church (33 Wilbur Ave, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
