She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufas Colwell and Elvira Colwell (Coomer); and her husband Rev. Bobby Spicer. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Rice (Keith), Betsy Greenwell (Larry), Timmy Spicer (Katrnia) and Tommy Spicer (Lisa); and her sister Kathlene Gasaway. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
