She was predeceased by: her mother Lou Swift (Horn); her husband Kermit Randall Pate; her daughter Angela Pate; and her siblings, Juanita Swift, Robert Swift and Stan Swift.
She is survived by: her father Hubert Swift; her children, Michael Pate, Kendra Schleicher (Steve) and Julie Lewis (Joe); and her brothers, Nathan Swift, David Swift and Cliffton Swift. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
