It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Barrett Barger of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Barrett and Sophia Barrett (Brewer); and her sons, Robert Otis Hines and Danny Shilo Hines. She is survived by: her husband Benny Barger; her children, Angela Bowling (Tim), Bobbie Jo Amick (Lawrence), Tonya Combs (Jason), Tammy McDaniel (Shawn), Trish Goen (Jon), Damon Wayne Hines and Benny Ray Barger (Tamara); her siblings, Brenda Campbell (Gary), Darlene Barrett, Leynette Wolfe, Teresa Cole (Jerry), Larry Barrett (Verda), Kennith Barrett (Judy), Jeff Barrett (Paige), Jerry Barrett and Gregory Barrett (Jane); her sister-in-law Nannetta Barrett; her brother Garry Barrett; and her brother-in-law Phillip Wolfe. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and the governor's executive order, face masks are required in the funeral home, ane we ask that social distancing is observed.
