He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gulley and Bessie Gulley (Jenkins); and his siblings, John Willis Gulley (Ham) and Mary Augusta Alexander (Gus). He is survived by: his wife Sara Gulley (Carter); his children, Lisa Anne Elliott (Lynn) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Sue Linn Ross (George) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Mike Rose (Rita) of Louisville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Rachel Ross, Nathan Ross (Ruthie), Michael Lee Rose (Lisa), Caitlin Matanich (Thomas), Bridget Wicklliff (Jake), Ashley Elliott (Nick Maher) and Levi Elliott; his great grandchildren, Izabella, Izaiah Ross, Daniel Lee Rose, Lily, Carter, Zeke Ross, Capri and Banks Matanich; his siblings, Bess Tomlin (Bill) of Covington, Kentucky and John Henry Gulley of Scottsburg, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, H. Dee Carter (Susan) of Florida and Nancy Carter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
