He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven Sweet, Jr. and Ruby Sweet (Fluhr); his wife Tonya Weedman; and his siblings, Irven Sweet, III, Rebecca Campbell and Penny Lee Sweet.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Palmer (Alfred) of Austin, Elizabeth Snelling of Scottsburg, Indiana and Robert "Bob" Green (Connie) of Elizabeth, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Loretta Hall (Joseph) and Joanna Williams (Robert Dean); and his grandsons, Robert "Bobbles" Hart Dean III, Gavin Michael Lee Dean and Marcus Williams. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations can be made in Lawrence's name to his family to assist with funeral expenses in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
