She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert E. Short and Ogle F. Short (Gist); and her daughter Jennifer K. Unger. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Unger (Angela) of Scottsburg and Curtis Unger (Heather) of Lexington, Indiana; her siblings, Prentice M. Short, Sr. of Scottsburg, Indiana, Robert D. Short of Scottsburg, Indiana and Melba J. Young of Scottsburg, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, Blake, Kaydence, Kace, Alexander Unger, Justin, Allison Bragg and Christopher Gibson.
