It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Junior Shepherd of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willie and Sudie Gibson; his son Willie Dale Shepherd; and his sisters, Anna Eldridge and Lucy Reddick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Shepherd (Higdon); his daughter Mary Jo Griffin (James) of Blocher, IN; his grandchildren, Jon Michael Morgan of Scottsburg, IN and Mary Beth Mitchell (Jordan Crawford) of Sellersburg, IN; his great grandchildren, Jordynn and Kinley Mitchell; and his brother Don Shepherd of Blocher, IN..
