He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard and Thelma I. Howard; and his brother Bobby Joe Howard. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Bagby of New Albany, Indiana, Clay Howard of Richmond, Kentucky and Sam Howard of Decatur, Alabama; and his siblings, Jerry Howard of Lexington, George Howard of Lexington, Wally Howard of Shelbyville, Indiana and Jeanette Howard Adams of Clarksville, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
