He was predeceased by: his parents, Everitt Perkinson and Geneva Mae Perkinson (Peacock); his wife Jeanne Joann Perkinson (Comer); his son Dale Perkinson; his sisters, Barbara Bowen and Nancy Mayhew; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Hailee Foist.
He is survived by: his son Jackie L. Perkinson, Jr. (Londa) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his brothers, John Perkinson (Beth) of Deputy and Gary Perkinson (Shirley) of Deputy, Indiana; his grandchildren, Regina Helton (Josh), Kay-Lynn Foist (Tyler), Cheyenne House (Michael) and Dakota Perkinson; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Jase Helton, Paxton, Quenton, Zayne Foist, Landon, Paisley Jesse and Carter Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
