He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Simpson (Satterly); his son Bill Simpson (Ashleigh) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his stepson James M. Richey (Lauren) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lilly, Landon, Leksie, Kyle, Bryton, Braelyn and Hailey; and his great grandchild Gatlin Paul.
