It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen J. Walker of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner McNear and Elizabeth McNear (Byrd); and her husband Vernon Walker, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Vernon Walker, Jr. of Frostproof, David Lee Walker of Springville, James Allan Walker of Clarksville and Darrell Keith Walker of Scottsburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
