It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Goben of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Burns and Ada Burns (Ledford); her husband Lyman H. Goben; her daughter Ramona Faye Brown; and her siblings, Rev. Don, Roy, Denver, Houston Burns, Cheryl Spicer, Anna Lee Walters and Hester Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Betty J. Robbins of Scottsburg, Phyllis Amick of Scottsburg, Yvonne Trabue (James) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Lloyd Brown (Vickie) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her stepchildren, Marla Bunker (Marvin) of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and Stephen Paul Goben of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; her brother John Burns of Crothersville, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Cheryl, Denney, Jeff, Jamie, Mark, Troy, Nicole, Billie, Mackenzie and Cody. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
