She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Hermas Borden and Ola Madelyn Borden (Mullinix); her siblings, Rue, Ralph, Bill, Audie Merle (Borden), Ann Whitaker, Virginia Munden and Betty McFarland; and her grandson Michael Lee "Mikey" Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Ray; her children, Kenny Ray of Scottsburg, Indiana, Jo Lord of Scottsburg, Patti Case (Roger) of Nabb and Kathy Ray of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her sisters, Madelyn Claiborne of Gallatin and Della Ayers of Gallatin, Tennessee; her grandchildren, James Hall, Lacey Gwen Lord, Jordan, Jesse and Savanna Ray; and her great grandchild Roger Melvin Ray.
